This CG is concessionaire operated. Amenities include RV dump and water fill-up, grass and planted non-native trees. Excellent TV and cell coverage. All sites are level. Some sites are on the lake, but that area is congested on weekends. We choose an inland site for privacy and a clear sky for the PV panels. The fee on the Geezer Card was $11 in 2012.
Although it is an hour to SLC from Anderson Cove, the pleasant setting makes the drive tolerable. At this time in May, this is the only CG that is open and offers an RV dump.
During the week, we have seen only four others in the CG. It was almost full on the weekends.
Fisher-people may enjoy hooking a Tiger Muskie.
Ogden has all stores, including Walmart, Costco, Smith's, etc.
Anderson Cove is a high standard campground, marina, group camping, and day-use beach. It has paved roads and spurs with a high level of security. Hosts are on-site. The main gate is locked each night at 10 p.m. to prevent unauthorized entry. A tire ripper prevents entry through the exit road. The campground is patrolled each night by Law Enforcement.
